They aren’t many …
They aren’t many records of athiest die for there beliefs. Maybe they just don’t want to die because it is illogical to die for there beliefs. There are tons of records of religious people die because they refused to convert even threat by force. Many people who fight injustic in society are religious inspired even it seems impossible. For example, Martin Luther King Civil Rights Movement, White Rose of 1930’s Nazi Germany, Nat Turner’s Slave Rebellion, and John Brown abolitionist.

I could try and provide some insight as to why Christ and other Writers of the Bible did not Vehemently oppose slavery if you interested. Unfortunately I don’t have enough characters in this comment box. If you’d like an e-mail on the issue i’d be happy to explain the reasons though.

Where does it say killing is A-OK in the Bible…or slavery? When the Hebrews were enslaved didn’t God raise up Moses and deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians? The servitude under the Kings chosen by God in the Old Testament was not “slavery” like we view it in modern times such as Africans in America or Holocaust victims and such. It was more occupational. These servants were not whipped or flogged; they tended to the King or queen and the King tended to their needs.
