Cherokee Nation, MOST Christians RIGHT NOW are harmless, but it wasn’t always so. Consider:

- After Constantine converted to Christianity, laws were passed making it illegal to be anything other than Christian. Pagans basically either posed as Christians, or DIED.

- The Crusades were a bloody massacre of Muslims in the Holy Land, by Christian knights. I’ve read accounts of the slaughter that would make your hair curl–and the medieval knights who wrote these accounts were PROUD that they’d filled streets with blood “up to the horses’ knees, nay, up to the very bridle.”

- During the Middle Ages, it wasn’t uncommon for the Christian lords and ladies to burn Jews at the stake–just for being Jews.

So yes, Christianity can lead to atrocity, and yes, we are perfectly within our rights to stop things like that from happening again.

True Christians are …
True Christians are not racist, homophobic and genecidal. Your information, your premise and your insight is wrong. There are many whom call themselves Christians, or try to identify themsemselves as such. Those people are twisting YOUR views about the true followers of Christ. Want to know what a TRUE Christian is? Read the Bible. Don’t get your information about Christians from Atheists or Agnostics. That is simply not fair to Christians.

would like to point out that in more cases than not christians are the ones doing the killing and torturing and killing, in the days before the church split because henry viii wanted a divorce, the church slaughtered “pagans” in horrible ways, as well as vice versa.

The last thing Christians are in the current world is harmless. George Bush who parades his faith is clearly intent on bringing about the end of the world just about any way he can, whether its to cause environmental disaster or to goad the Middle East into nuclear war. He doesn’t care cos he thinks the Mother ship is coming for him. The sooner faith is recognised as a mental health issue the better!

I wouldn’t mind. No not really, I am interested in the development of society, and there is no part of religion which says that that is necessary. I don’t like seeing children being brainwashed and people being misled and becoming racist, homophobic and genecidal just because someone tells them that if they don’t think that way they will be punished for eternity.

I listened to your entire ranting. I can’t help but wonder, why are you taking the time to do this? Are you afraid of death? Afraid of Christians? Afraid of God? What motivates you? Hate God if you must, that’s your right, but why hate the Christians. Aren’t they harmless? I know they used to be fed to lions, torn apart by teams of horses and suffered many other forms of death and torture, simply because they were Christians. I thought we were past all that. Do you want that to return?

I was a Christian, Then I read the Bible! Wow i learned how much of a mistake christianity is. The Apostles cant even keep there facts straight and then twist non prophecy into Prophecies that jesus full filled. Jesus Doesn’t Fullfill anyof the Messianic Prophecy there for according to his own religion he was a false prophet
