Atheism forever ?
Written by admin on September 30, 2008 – 3:46 pm -Seeing the rise and fall of all the Gods isn't Atheism the only possible winner between "God" and atheism ?
Since the dawn of time there was at least one person doubting what others told him about religion.
There were Sumerian, Egyptian , Greek , Roman, Slav and modern religions (Islam, Chrstianity, Judaism, … ), but there is only one Atheism.
Strong minds question what they learn.
Because of that there will always be those looking for more logical explanations for what we do not know about our world.

I think theism will always exist in some form. People like the idea of a higher power, but I'm sure Christianity will eventually become obsolete, I'm surprised its even lasted this long

They appear to have the best track record. I mean they are the only ones who have not been proven wrong and can say "We told you so."

No, they can say "We told you so" about many previous gods, and they have not yet been proven wrong. The argument stands. Christians can't claim anything.

Excellent Logic…You may pat yourself on the back! However, how do you know that people have been doubting since the dawn of time? (Just wondering)
ps…I'll still "take my chances" with God.
Edit: Aquila….since it requires death to know what happens after we die, and since Atheists believe we die and there is nothing, then they could not possibly say "I told you so". You can only do that if you believe in an afterlife.

Of course because every human being is born atheist. And everyone of us have the "free will" to keep on being brain washed– as human beings have been for hundreds of generation– or choose to be free from that and think for ourselves.
