   I dont know but tolerance does not come from religion it comes from people and their own set of morals. I am a tolerant person and i'm an atheist, equally i've seen tolerant christians…but i've also seen both atheist and christians who are not tolerant.

   As others said, if your definition of world leader only includes political figures, only these comes to mind. But if world leader has a wider definition (like a leader in literature, science, etc) I have several names.

    Can you name one tolerant dictator or one democratically elected atheist world leader? It isn't that atheists are intolerant, Christians rarely vote for anyone who is not a Christian or a Jew.

    You forget that all those men were atheist who ran COMMUNIST regimes. NOT democratic countries!

    you bring up the whole lenin, stalin, mao, thing they werent even democratic. you stray from the point.

    how about when the spanish came and exterminated the mayans and aztecs for not being christians? how about the crusades and holy wars? hmm.. your not so perfect are you. The day america “heaven #2″ gets an atheist leader is the day this world changes for the better.

    The only Atheists who have ever managed to be a world leader have been dictators. This is because dictators seize power through force and coercion. Atheists have no chance of ever being elected through democracy, so, out of every atheist with ambitions to lead, only the “evil” ones can ever be counted as having succeeded. The ratio of evil:good atheist prospective world leaders could be anywhere from 99:1 to 1:99, rendering this hysterical gibberish meaningless as a comparison between atheism and religion.
