From my studies of JW’s I think it is inaccurate to speak of “Christian” and “JW’s” as if they are two separate things… JW’s believe in and follow the actions and teachings of Christ, and are therefore “Christians”. In fact, I’d say they follow Christ, in general, better than many of the so-called “Christians”.

I’ve met “Christians” who became JWs who had basically no idea what the Christian faith was.Mostly they described themselves a Catholic,Anglican,Baptist but had no idea what that church taught.Whereas the JW who becomes a Christian has had a background in Biblical study.They can see the differences between what the JWs teach and what the Christian faith teaches.I say this as a “Christian” of 20 years who then was a JW of 30 years, then returned to being a Christian for the last 10 years.

The trouble is what do you mean by an “ex-Christian” becoming a JW? How many “active” Christians become JWs. Most of them are Christian in name only. The majority have only beeen in a church for the usual, christenings, weddings and funerals. Many “Christians” who become JWs have hardly read the Bible. To compare a Christian becomes JW with a JW becomes Christian,is entirely different.

I do agree with you …
I do agree with you though, Shazoolo does revell in what ever the critics of JW’s have to say. I’ve seen him cheer the most vile anti-christian comments as long as they were also anti-JW’s. So yes, the truth is, he has absolutely no interest in what the “ex-christian” has to say if he/she’s now joined up with JW’s. He’s interested only in the comments critical of JW’s. this gives him the kind of insight he wants, and allows him to see what he wants to see….
