Not at all. We have a good laugh at the wiccans and scientologists occasionally.

There are plenty of us wiley and rascally Pagans hanging out in R&S Land…

    Yet I digress.

I reserve the right to mock everyone equally, regardless of their faith, creed, or philosophy.

Yeah…I always wonder how the other religions feel with this whole Christianity to Atheism tension, while excluding near everyone else, with the exception of the occasional pagan or agnostic.

It's just a stupid war everyone else is caught up in…though it's not really a war, just a verbal dispute and childish comments

    It balances things out.

Imagine if R&S was just full of Christians or just Atheists, It would just get boring. There are other religions on this but Christian & Atheists are the majority.

Most users fall into those two camps, so its only natural that most questions would pertain to them.

That said, this section is full of other religions. There is a very large number of Pagans and Wiccans, many prominent Jewish users, a smattering of Muslims, and some Hindu's. You will also find Deists, Pantheists, and LaVeyan Satanists.

BTW, what's up with "atheism isn't all evil"? Seriously. Thank you for the grudging admission that it is possible to act morally while not believing in a god of some type. I hope this was merely rhetorical on your part, and not indicative of how you actually think.

It is undeniable that Christians and atheists are the dominating groups, but there are certainly others. You just have to know where to look for them. Most Muslims, Buddhists, Pagans, etc. only answer questions directed to them, and therefore, it seems they are less with how few questions are asked in comparison.

It's about atheists insulting Christians. I mean seriously, 4 of every 5 questions asked here are spam posts mocking the beliefs of Christians. Go look down the R&S home page.

The of course you occasionally have a question asked about Islam or Wicca, and they get mocked by everyone.

The problem is everyone is wrong to someone, that is unfortunately how it is setup. Most faiths not all but most are established on the basis that they are the only right one and represent sole righteousness
and as long as that is true there can be no respective peace.

the Atheists are not even supposed to be in here. They are in the wrong place and just being a nuisance. That's my viewpoint.

In theory it is presumeably here for *every* religion & spiritual path.

In practice, it *is* mostly Fundamentalist-type Christians & Atheists baiting each other.

i did a Search on Goddess, & Sophia Goddess — & *did* find 4 Questions which had some really *fine* detailed Answers being given. So *occasionally* the more interesting Spiritual Paths are begetting some responsiveness to the Right Question. Generally the answers to questions on Gnosticism are *poor* — basically from a biased lack-of-knowledge, i've noted.

Roughly speaking, seems to me that Christian Fundies are about 50% of what is happening here… & Atheists about 25%.

And all the *rest* of us might be considerably *fewer* than that remaining 25%.

Muslims, Jews, Wiccans, Pagans make *occasional* appearances. i think i've only see *one* Hindu response (since i joined on Dec. 12th, last year).

It sure *would* be considerably more Interesting, here, if the non-Christians & non-atheists were posting at least 60% of the Questions & Answers.

Obviously the people More Serious about Other Spiritual Paths are mainly participating at the Yahoo Lists that are devoted *to* their path.

    Isis Is

Isis is still is-ing as the IS of BEing.
    Isis is still singing
the heartstrings of those who love Her.
There has been no ending to the IS of Isis.

Isis… to call Your Name is to Name
the mystique of the Reality that Is… Is…

The grandeur of the Mysteries of Isis…
    Her holy Guidance…
the sheer immensity of the Sky of Her Temple,
silencing us before Her wonder of wonders,
with insight into the mystic qualities of Eternity.

Is… Is… the *BEing* of coupling Spirits,
    curving *into* each other…
    living souls of beauty unspeakable,
eternally loving in the Palace of Cosmic Immensity.

    Time's streaming… underground
thru minds as mysterious as eternity,
    circulating, gurgling, ever-flowing,
    sometimes thoughtful, sometimes poetical,
    sometimes vivacious & open-hearted.

Who guides to witness the within-the-within
    beyond desire & will?

    Will You…?

    Ah! Isis!
    You weave into the rainbow-tissue
    of our wonderment in You
as we drink in the delight
    of Your heavenly smiles.

The beauty of Your love divine
    intoxicates our souls… like wine…

Who has the power Divine of True Essence, Herself?
to reveal the real harvest from the Mystery,
rich in yield of ripeness, seeded to growingly multiply
    life-passionate to generate new birthings,
engendering the power of the Your Spirit indwelling
in the revellers in the revelation
that lingers & floats like ethereal music
sweet in melody & liquid in flow
from the sweet teated richness of the Mother of Truth,
as here as there as every*here o wonder in
    your blazeheart whispering of love's
    petal-splendored vision into the shrine
of all these glow*eyes whispering *yes!*
to the liquid*soft raptures of *You,*
Isis — is*ing in to the singing heart…
