    That’s why I love …
That’s why I love it where I live. Religion isn’t omnipresent. I don’t know of a single religious person that’s younger than like 40. Granted, we kept a bunch of religious things like I were baptized by my parents who don’t really believe in God.

Anywho, I feel sorry for that guy.

    I have been a ‘ …
I have been a ‘quiet’ atheist for over 40 yrs now. I have recently become an outspoken atheist because of recent radical changes to my lifestyle by the religious. In the past, it was never as ‘in-my-face’ as it is now. Add to that, entering the teaching profession(science) and witnessing the severe indoctrination/lying that students are subjected to, loss of separation of church and state, theists blaming gawd for everything that happens in every sentence, and I am fed up. Time to yell.

    Excuse me, but some …
Excuse me, but some human beings get a little off when they find out they have been herded like sheep, and bamboozled from birth, thinking they are worshipping a loving GOD, only to find out in latter years its a murdering deity from some desert death cult, that isnt even AMERICAN!!

I wish I could scream it from the rooftops! (smile)

    It’s all part of …
It’s all part of transition process. You live your entire life fearing what “he” is going to think or do to you, it’s hard to NOT think about that even when you stop believing it.

    well some people …
well some people have really rapid and complex thought processes and need to tell people about whats on their mind more than others do. If he needs to keep talking about atheism then he’s probably insecure about his (non)beliefs and is still afraid of god.

    Hehe, you could …
Hehe, you could visibly see Matt flinch when the caller said ‘atheim teachings’ :)

    Think I did a little too :)

    It’s wrong that …
It’s wrong that it’s such a big deal over in America. Unless all your conversations involve discussions like these then I don’t see a reason why it would affect anything.

It seems kind of childish in a way.

Polysmart: I don’t claim to know what he does in his personal life. It is definitely a possibility. He does seem to be a little smug. I still be he doesn’t run his mouth due to him having a media to rant on.

So basically what you two are saying is everyone should shut up and stop speaking out?

    Nothing to be …
Nothing to be described. I am an atheist, and all I am saying is that if you parade around with it hard enough you are going to people off, religious or not.

    Polysmart: How …
Polysmart: How would you describe theist musician, athletes, military, and politicians)? Faith is everywhere and is being crammed down our throats(atheist or opposite religions other than Christianity)!

I bet he doesn’t unless he is pushed, or he is on his show.

    I best he’s the …
I best he’s the type of guy who goes around parading “Look at me, I’m an atheist, what are you gonna do about it”. If you want not to be shunned by others, try not being so darn adamant and pushy about your (non-)beliefs for starters.
