Seems we have in our midst yet another atheist who is trying to make people whose beliefs differ from his just go away.

And you secularists are (or at least claim to be) the so-called champions of tolerance!

I am here to fight against religion and intolerance with my own atheism and intolerance. I am intolerant of religion because it breeds ignorance and stupid people

Dude, I'm just here because I'm bored and I got nothing better to do than to make fun of people or admire really smart and witty ones.

And I admire your prerogative. More power to you.

Frankly, I'd rather live with science and logic in my side than wait for Judgment Day so that God could tell me whether I'm going to hell or heaven.

If he was real, then I'd probably go to hell. Sucks for me.

If he wasn't, then I'm sorry for all those religious nut-freaks who devoted all their lives into worshiping a non-existent, fictional figure.

No offense, folks. I'm agnostic. My mother goes ballistic about my choice of faith and belief so I pretend to be awake when she drags me to church to listen to a guy in a white dress talk for the whole hour about something I could even care less about.

Right now…I'm here to respond to you. Religion is a huge part of my life, matter of fact it IS my life. I don't understand how those of us who are faithful affect you. It is MY right to say the pledge of allegiance in it's entirety that is threatened. It is my children who are unable to speak of Jesus in school but ARE taught to play with a dredel. And, quite frankly, I'm offended by a good portion of your list up there. Religious control? Cults? You clearly have no idea what you are so against. Nobody spikes my morning coffee and makes me go to church. I join my family every Sunday morning for worship and to celebrate our faith freely and joyfully. And what effect does religion have on access to medicine? You are going to have to explain your stance so that we can have a real debate.

Now, I enjoy the plethora of people that cross here.
I enjoy reading various opinions, along with adding my own. Even those who are sarcastic or abrasive have the positive attribute of standing up for their convictions. I only asked one question in Y!A so far because I'm new & will be at 250pts probably later today. Then maybe I'll start with questions…
