Part#1
I take it that you believe he was wrong.
What If I said to U, that not a single Human Being died in the concentrations camps, what would you say? …U probably just say that I’m crazy.
But, How can I assert such fact?
I can assert it because by german law, at that time, Jews were legally considered not fully human, they were classified as a sub human species, legally speaking they were not persons.
Part#2
A group of people passed laws that said that another group of people were not real humans, that they were not persons.
Obviously I’m wrong, but for the purpose here let’s admit that human beings died in the concentration camps, so what…we did not know any of these people. why should we care? what value were they to us? Did the Jewish lives have any value? The point I’m trying to make here is how is it that our lives have value? How do we determine if any given live has value?
Part#3
what criteria are we going to use, do we have value if we only can be productive? or if can serve useful purpose? Or if someone else thinks that we have value? or if we have IQ’s of 100 or more? or if someone else loves us? or if our quality of life meets some arbitrary standard set by someone else? Do our lifes have value? and if they do, what gives them value?
Part#4
We have value simply because we are alive. The human life has inherent life, in other words simply because is a human life it has value.
But what are my basis for saying that? Why does the human life has inherent value?
We have value as human being because GOD give us value. He gives us value because of his LOVE for us. We don’t have value, because we productive, or because we useful, or because someone else thinks that we have value, or because we have an IQ of 100 or more…
Part#5
we don’t have value because another being loves us, or because of some arbitrary level of quality of life.
we have value because GOD LOVES us, any other line of reasoning, leaves an opening for someone, somewhere at some point in time to declare that someone elses has no value. Which is exactly what happen to the Jews in Europe, which is exactly what is happening to unborn children in many countries today.
Part#6
People who do not believe in GOD cannot offer any objective reason for saying that they thenmself have value as human beings, as without GOD everything becomes subjective, merely one person opinion versus another persons opinion and the stronger persons opinion prevails, in essence might makes right.
So I take you back to the original question, Why was wrong for Hitler to kill 6 million Jews?
All you could offer was a subjective opinion.
Part#7
Without GOD one cannot make an objective case that the holocost was moraly wrong, you can only give your opinion, and your opinion is subjective, in fact without GOD one cannot make a case that any killing is morally wrong. Or that the terrorist attacks that have taken place are morally wrong, afterall if there is no GOD we nothing more then animals, & no one says that 1 animal killing another animal is morally wrong.
Part#8
Hittler was morally wrong if and only if GOD exists, if GOD does not exist, then might makes right, as Hitler was the most powerful person in Germany (using your Atheist reasoning), he had every right to do what he did, & I cannot agree with your reasoning, where Atheists try to remove GOD from everything. Hitler was morally wrong only if GOD exists, & the fact that Hitler was morally wrong if GOD exists, leads us to say, why don’t Atheists have no rights,
Part#9
if there is no GOD, not only because the Jews lives had no inherent value, but because the Jews had no rights, no right to live, no right to property, no right of freedom from persecution, no right for anything, if there is no GOD, in fact none of us has any inherent rights.
Part#10
Atheits take Christian values for granted, such as right to life, right to own property, right to Freedom, & all the other rights that have been build by our Christian Fathers. In fact in the US, (ironically)the law which is based on Christian values is very clear, and says the following:
we hold these truths to be self evident, that all man are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator.
& when were we created? When mummy’s egg meet with daddy’s sperm cell. GOD Bless.
