No Representation In Government For Athiests

Written by admin on Announcement – 4:13 pm -

If 86% of the people in America believe in God then 14% of the American population do not believe in a deity. That being the case, why is it then, that 40 million Americans, 14% of the population, are not represented by a single vote in Congress. There are Gays in congress and, as it turns out, child molesters in Congress and now there is a Muslem in congress but absolutely no athiests.

The reason is simple. They would not get elected if they declared themselves athiest or even agnostic so they profess a false belief in a diety because they simply must.  If there are non-believers in congress, and the numbers say that there must be, it makes you wonder how many of those 86% of the rest of us are also less than truthful about our beliefs.

Could it be that it’s just not good ediquite to be counted on the side of the minority when it comes to faith and could this be similar to the story of the emporors new clothes. Could it be that people see the naked truth of religion but say that they see the fine robes and not the fat uglieness.

Think about this one: If there was no belief in God there would be far fewer reasons for our troups to be in harms way. It requires a belief in religion for a suiside bomber to strap on a dynamite vest and blow themselves up. If not for a belief in rewards in the next life no one would sacrafice this one.

It also requires religion and blind patriotism for a sane young man or woman to pick up a gun and kill another human being. It’s the combination of religion and blind patriotism that allows him or her to justify and even revel in the cancelling of the other guys right to exist.

Human conflict and war are often necessary but without blind patriotism and religion it would be far less necessary and war would be far more causiously waged with so many fewer willing volunteers.

And here is the one that scares me the most. A very conservative estimate of just ten percent (10%) of all muslims are of the radical type violent potential terrorist soldiers for Allah. Right or wrong, the reason for the incredible increase in the number of muslim radicals can be directly attributed to the US forign policy toward muslim forms of theoracractic governments and the US suport of Israel.

There are one and a half billion with a ‘B’ muslims which means that there are one hundred and fifty million with an ‘M’ millitant muslim soldiers for Allah. That is almost half the population of the United States. There are three (maybe more) muslim states that could potentially have nuclear weapons today but in the next ten years there will me many more.  When (not if) radical Islam decides to take over the world there will be no one to stop them. The destiny of this planet is to be torn apart by it’s religions. Maybe this is the Armegidion that is talked about in the bible, if, that is you believe in the bible.

So wave the flag and bow to god, if you choose to, and those of us who have different thoughts will defend your right to do so with our one and only life. If war becomes absolutely necessary, and very soon it my well be absolutely necessary, all thanks for it be to God and Country for our privilage to serve.

Where is ti written Judaism, Islam, and Christianity reject Materialism?

Written by admin on April 11, 2010 – 11:55 am -

At Wikipedia’s page about materialism it says the catholic encyclopedia says Materialism denies the existence of both God and the soul, and is incompatible with Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and some Buddhism. Where besides the Catholic encyclopedia is it written that Materialism is incompatible with these things?

How are religion & atheism different from any other social cliques you might find in high school?

Written by admin on April 11, 2010 – 11:55 am -

How much do you cheer for YOUR social clique, just because it is yours?

And how much do you cheer for Christianity, Islam, atheism, Judaism, or any other belief system, in exactly the way you cheer for your favorite soccer team or football team — just because it’s yours?

What do you think of Gora’s quotation on atheism and morality? read details?

Written by admin on March 22, 2010 – 6:49 pm -

Because morality is a social necessity, the moment faith in god is banished, man’s gaze turns from god to man and he becomes socially conscious. Religious belief prevented the growth of a sense of realism. But atheism at once makes man realistic and alive to the needs of morality.
